This website is hosted by World4You Internet Services GmbH, Wolfgang-Pauli-Straße 2/BT3, 4020 Linz, Austria (company register no. 232485s). The provider processes the data generated when the website is accessed solely on my behalf and in accordance with my instructions, on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The data is processed on servers located in Austria.

Server log files

When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically stores data in so-called server log files: the page requested, date and time, amount of data transferred, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL and IP address. This processing is based on the legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in operating the website securely and without technical faults. This data is not combined with other data sources.

Google Analytics 4

This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to analyse how the website is used — for example which pages are viewed, how long visits last and which source visitors arrive from.

Legal basis: Processing takes place solely on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 165(3) Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021). Without consent, no analytics script is loaded and no data is transmitted to Google.

Transfers to third countries: Data may be transferred to servers operated by Google LLC in the United States. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; in addition, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses apply.

IP addresses: In Google Analytics 4, IP addresses are truncated upon receipt and are not stored permanently.

Retention: User-level data collected by Google Analytics is deleted automatically after 14 months at the latest.

Withdrawal: You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future — via the cookie settings link or by clearing the website data stored in your browser.

Storage of your cookie choice

Your consent or refusal is stored locally in your browser (localStorage, key tsch-consent) so that the prompt does not reappear on every page view. This storage is technically necessary, contains no personal data and is not transmitted to third parties.

YouTube videos

Videos from YouTube are embedded on some pages, exclusively via the extended privacy mode (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube only sets cookies once you actively start a video. When playback begins, your IP address is transmitted to Google. The provider is Google Ireland Limited. Further information: policies.google.com/privacy.

Contacting me

If you contact me by email, your details are stored in order to handle your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in responding (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or the initiation and performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The data is deleted once it is no longer required for that purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Your rights

You generally have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand. Please contact the address given above to exercise these rights.
